This position is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operations of computer system hardware and software that make up a computer network including monitoring of active data network or converged infrastructure and related network equipment. The Network Administrator will focus on network components within the company's LAN/WAN, intranet and internet infrastructure ensuring integrity. Activities and tasks include network address assignment, management and implantation of routing protocols, routing table configuration and certain implementations of authentication and maintenance of network servers, file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems, passive optical networking, etc. Additional tasks include maintenance and administration of servers, desktops computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, IP Phones, PDA, Smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches and other vast array of additional technologies inclusive of both hardware and software. This position shall also perform all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, as well as established departmental policies, procedures and controls.

Bachelor's degree in Cuputer Science, Information Systems or related field OR 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in Network System Design/Engineering, Network Systems Analysis/Implementation/Installation and Network Security and Surveillance or equivalent is required. Technical certificate may substitute in place of Bachelor's degree. Preferred, but not required (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CCNA, CCNP, CWTS, CWNA). Strong network routing protocol experience and troubleshooting skills preferred. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPSec, SNMP, DHCP and other common protocol standards. Solid understanding of SIP, VOIP, other network communications and wireless networking. Network Scanning Tools, Protocol Analyzers, Process Enumeration Tools and Wireless Tools. Proficient in MS Windows environment, Virtualization (VMware), Active Directory, cloud based hosted services (MS Office365). Experience with Enterprise class firewall appliance (Palo Alto), Enterprise class SAN OS (Dell EqualLogic), Servers and Switches (Dell).

Optical LANs, Tellabs Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), Optical Network Terminal (ONT), Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Traditional LAN Architecture. Solid knowledge of all physical aspects of running cable, termination, trace and networking. Must be able to pass Oregon State Background to obtain gaming license.
